So what is a FREE day when you're on an Adventure Caravan? FREE simply means that there are no scheduled tours or events for the group. It's a day to enjoy a personal exploration of the area or a day to take care of personal needs: laundry, grocery shopping, rest, or a walk on the beach! For this Waltz Across Texas group, some of the FREE day activities included breakfast at Skipper's, laundry, searching for pelican statues in Seabrook, near the Kemah Boardwalk, afternoon ice cream, a good book, a massage, and preparations for tomorrow's travel day.
